Today, the world lost Elizabeth Pena, who is arguably one of the most influential Latina actresses of her generation. Known for her work in films such as
The Incredibles, Rush Hour, Tortilla Soup, Jacob's Ladder, Down and Out in Beverly Hills, and
Lone Star, as well as guest-starring on the hit television show
Modern Family. Pena's cause of death has not yet been disclosed. She is mourned by her family and friends, and fellow actresses such as Zoe Saldana and Eva Longoria.
